About Nature Frost
A frozen fruits and vegetables processing company focused on consistent quality, food safety and year-round availability of premium agricultural produce.

Located at Shree Kangan Food Park in Begusarai, Bihar, Nature Frost is being developed as a modern frozen fruits and vegetables processing facility serving food businesses, institutional buyers, modern retail, HoReCa and distribution markets.
We combine carefully selected farm-fresh produce with modern food-processing technology to create high-quality IQF (Individual Quick Frozen) products that preserve the natural taste, colour, texture and goodness of fruits and vegetables.
We don’t just freeze food — we preserve goodness.
Preserving Nature. Delivering Freshness.

To become a trusted Indian name in frozen fruits and vegetables.
We envision Nature Frost as a leading food-processing company that brings together Indian agriculture, modern technology and global food-quality standards.
Our long-term ambition is to build a strong frozen-food brand from Bihar and take high-quality Indian agricultural produce to consumers and businesses across India and international markets.
To preserve the goodness of nature through technology and deliver safe, convenient and high-quality frozen fruits and vegetables to customers throughout the year.
Nature Frost is developed under the Creation / Expansion of Food Processing & Preservation Capacities (CEFPPC) of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan SAMPADA Yojana (PMKSY), Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MoFPI), Government of India.
The project reflects our commitment to strengthening India’s food-processing infrastructure, promoting value addition of agricultural produce, reducing post-harvest losses and creating a modern farm-to-market supply chain.
With a 3 MT/hour IQF processing capacity, Nature Frost aims to transform quality Indian fruits and vegetables into high-quality frozen products for customers across India and international markets.

Our Technology
Individual Quick Freezing drops each piece to −35°C to −40°C in minutes, so ice crystals stay small, cell walls survive, and every piece freezes separately instead of into a solid block.
Freeze produce slowly and large ice crystals form inside each cell, rupturing the cell walls. Thaw it and the structure collapses — that is the mushy, watery frozen vegetable everyone remembers.
Our processing approach is designed to maintain six things a buyer actually judges a frozen product on:
| Attribute | Bulk freezing | Our IQF |
|---|---|---|
| Freezing speed | Slow — hours in a bulk blast room | Rapid — minutes in a continuous tunnel |
| Ice crystal size | Large crystals that rupture cell walls | Fine crystals that protect cell structure |
| Piece separation | Frozen into a solid block | Every piece frozen individually, free-flowing |
| Portioning | Thaw the whole block to use any of it | Pour out only what you need |
| Texture after cooking | Softer, more drip loss | Firm, close to fresh |
| Colour and nutrition | Greater degradation over time | Natural colour and nutrients well retained |
Processing Line
Each stage has a defined job, a defined control point and a defined output.
Stage flow

Stage flow
Every stage between the field and your cold store, and the temperature the product is held at through it.
Cold Chain
Blanching briefly lifts the product to around 90°C, which deactivates the enzymes that would otherwise degrade colour, texture and nutrients in storage. Rapid cooling follows immediately.
The product then enters the IQF tunnel at −35°C to −40°C. From that point it is never allowed to warm: cold storage at −18°C or lower, reefer transport at the same temperature, and delivery straight into your cold store.

Why Frozen
Produce destined for freezing is harvested ripe and processed within hours. Produce destined for the fresh shelf is picked early and spends days in transit.
Produce frozen immediately after harvest retains more nutrients than produce stored fresh for several days.

Produce is processed close to harvest, not after days in transit and storage.
Freezing halts the nutrient loss that continues in fresh produce day after day.
Low temperature does the preserving, so no chemical preservatives are required.
Use only what you need, when you need it — the rest stays frozen and usable.
Already washed, cut and portioned, saving preparation time and kitchen labour.
Seasonal produce on your menu and shelf in every month.
12–24 months when held correctly at −18°C or lower.
Growing demand across retail, food service and export.
Less trim waste, less labour, more usable yield per kilogram.
Value addition close to source strengthens the farm economy.
Quality & Food Safety
It begins with the selection of raw materials and continues through processing, freezing, packaging, storage and distribution.
Product specifications defined up front and verified before anything is packed.
Food-grade contact surfaces, controlled zones and documented sanitation routines.
Standardised processes so every batch matches the one before it.
Batch identity maintained from incoming raw material through to dispatch.
Dependable supply your production planning and menus can be built around.
We are committed to continuously strengthening our food-safety and quality-management systems in line with applicable regulatory and customer requirements. Certification and audit documentation is shared directly with buyers on request as part of the supplier-approval process.
Our Infrastructure
An IQF processing capacity of approximately 3 tonnes per hour means we can absorb a full harvest window at peak season and still hold consistent output for contract supply through the rest of the year.
Dedicated handling lines configured for the different requirements of fruits and vegetables.
Washing, peeling, trimming, cutting and grading ahead of the freezing tunnel.
Continuous individual quick freezing at −35°C to −40°C for free-flowing product.
Industrial refrigeration maintaining finished goods at −18°C or lower.
Steam generation and utilities supporting blanching and plant operations.
Treated process water for washing, blanching and cleaning operations.
On-site ETP for responsible treatment of process water before discharge.
In-house testing and verification against defined product specifications.
Temperature-controlled handling, staging and loading to protect the cold chain.
Held at −18°C until it reaches you
Cold storage, reefer transport and delivery straight into your cold store
Finished product moves straight from the freezing tunnel into cold storage at −18°C or lower, where it holds its quality for 12 to 24 months.
Supporting utilities — steam generation for blanching, treated process water, on-site effluent treatment and an in-house quality control laboratory — keep that line running to specification.
Sustainability & Value Creation
By processing agricultural produce close to its source and extending its usable life through freezing, we contribute to better utilisation of farm produce and a reduction in post-harvest losses.
Processing produce close to its source and extending its usable life through freezing means far less of the harvest is lost between field and plate.
Building strong, direct relationships with growers creates a dependable route to market for agricultural produce.
Water treatment, effluent treatment and energy-conscious refrigeration keep the processing footprint in check.
A modern processing facility creates skilled and semi-skilled employment within the local food-processing ecosystem.
We work with farmers and supplier networks who can meet our quality requirements consistently, and we are always interested in building new sourcing relationships in suitable agricultural regions. If you grow or aggregate produce we process, we would like to hear from you.
